Im a foreign trained nurse with background in ICU-CCU, Medical/Surgical, Emergency Care, Long Term Care / Dementia and Palliative Care.
I am Registered Practical Nurse and have completed a PSW Certification in Toronto and experienced working in retirement homes here in Toronto . Has updated CPR and first aid certificate and current police check clearance and recently completed a certificate in Dementia and Aggressive Behaviour Workshop, ECG Technician and Phlebotomy Course.
I have a degree in Nursing base on Canadian education equivalency (World Education Services).
I've passed the Registered Nurse License examination in Ontario and pending registration.
I have cared for a client with Dementia and client with complex health condition here in Toronto.
I had worked for more than a decade from both direct nursing care and clinical teaching that also focused on Medical/ Surgical and various nursing disciplines. Has years of experience supervising and perform hands on guidance to nursing student during their clinical placement in the hospital, elderly day care / nursing homes and Long term care facilities. Being in the field as a nurse educator for almost two decades, it is my responsibility that all nursing students carry out safe care and on its utmost quality, hence patient needs are met. I have to be updated on all task, skills/ procedures related to nursing care this includes paying attention on details on institution policy and regulation.
